Nerves? Normal!

Jan 29, 2021

I had the best time with Ms. S – she says she was nervous, but I never would have been able to tell. She owned her experience from beginning to end. I couldn’t even describe to her the vibe she was putting off during the session, and I don’t think she would have believed me anyway.

It’s true, most of my clients BEGIN this process nervous – it’s super vulnerable and outside of most peoples’ comfort zones! However, I like to humble-brag that none of my clients stay nervous after we start shooting. It doesn’t take long for them to realize that it’s not as intimidating as it seems. Plus, me being your personal cheerleader for an hour and half doesn’t hurt. 😉

Ms. S added on the outdoor tub set and ordered 3 large metal prints of three of her favorites to go along with her 40-image collection in a luxury album and folio.

Now she has a baby on the way and is going to be a beautiful mother. Thank you, Ms. S, for letting me share your images and I hope to photograph you again soon!

How do you think your session went?

What was the best part of the experience for you?
Um, everything!

Now that you’ve completed your session and seen your images, is there something that
you would have liked to tell your pre-session self to do, not do, or not to worry about?
Don’t be nervous! I was so nervous but once we started it all went away.

Would you change anything about the experience? If yes, what specifically? Is there anything we can improve?
Nothing at all!

How would you rate your body confidence post-session on a scale from 1-10?
10 (Pre: 6)

“Doing this shoot was AMAZING. Everything from the first phone call to picking up my album a few weeks ago was better than I could have imagined. I felt so good about myself when I left! I’m always showing my pictures off and convincing people to check out Atlantic Boudoir! I can’t wait to do another.”
