We start with an in-person consultation about a month before your shoot. This is where I help you feel 110% prepared to strut your stuff in front of the camera. Together, we’ll raid the Client Closet, trying on outfits that flatter your body type and make you feel like a million bucks. By the end, you’ll have killer looks ready to go.
Professional Hair & Makeup
Our pro stylists are here to make sure your natural beauty shines through. Whether you want dramatic glam or a more natural vibe, we’ll create a look that’s camera-ready and totally you.
Complete Posing Guidance
Worried about looking awkward? Not on my watch. I’ll coach you through every pose, angle, and even facial expression, making sure you look and feel photogenic from head to toe. By the end, you’ll be nailing poses like a pro.
Same-Day Image Reveal & Professional Editing
After the shoot, take a break, enjoy your lunch (and maybe that massage!), while I narrow down your shots to the top jaw-dropping images. You’ll get to pick your favorites, which I’ll then professionally retouch to transform you into a work of art.

What is a boudoir photoshoot?
Boudoir is an intimate, honest and glamorous portrait photography session that's all about empowerment. It’s the chance to be vulnerable and express a side of yourself that you may have lost touch with, or one that you love to bring out every once in a while!
Will there be any men present during the shoot?
No. Our team is 100% female, intended to keep you feeling comfortable and at ease while on set with us.
What if I don’t want anyone else to see my images?
That is 100% your choice! If you do not wish to give us the permission to share your photos in your marketing materials, we will absolutely honor your wishes!
Is it normal to be nervous to book a boudoir photoshoot?
Almost everyone is nervous to do something like this – that’s what makes it so fun! Use this opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone and feel an intense rush of pride and happiness that you did something for yourself.
Where is the studio located?
Our studio is located at 812 Castle St. in beautiful downtown Wilmington, NC. We are walking distance to a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and hotels!
When will I get to see my photos?
The same day as your session! You take a lunch break, get a massage, and then they’re ready for the big reveal!
Will you retouch my acne/wrinkles/cellulite/bruises?
Yes – I professionally retouch all of your purchased images. I do not change body shapes, but I do smooth skin and remove blemishes, etc.
I’m a curvy/”older” woman – can you still make me look good?
Um…yes! I photograph women of all ages, sizes, and shapes. We are all unique and boudoir is for everyone!
How far in advance should I schedule my shoot?
My calendar fills up quickly. I recommend coming in for your shoot 4-6 weeks before you need your album, and booking the shoot with me 2-3 months before that.
