I also am a strong proponent for complete freedom in self-expression and women living their lives in the way that makes them feel the most empowered. Along the same lines, during the in-person consultation and the session itself at my studio, I am completely open to both modesty and nudity – it doesn’t matter to me. My studio is a safe space without judgement.

CONGRATULATIONS to the beautiful Ms. R who just got married this past weekend and is going to surprise her husband with these when her album comes in! She would be the first to tell you that doing a boudoir session was SO outside of her comfort zone and she was incredibly nervous…but can you just LOOK at that smile?! I seriously cannot wait to hear her partner’s reaction when he finds out she did this – but am more excited to know that she feels incredible. 💜

Let me start by saying that having intimate portraits taken as a couple is a lot less steamy than you may think. It’s a professional shoot and you have someone (me) pointing a camera at the two of you and telling you specifically how to pose the entire time, which takes away from the, erm…sexy vibe.
